If you know me, you know I'm full of opinions. If you don't know me, you'll learn that soon enough. All of what you see here represents just that: my opinions. Not those of any employer, family member, group or association. Just me.

You've gotta be effin' kidding me.

Have we really become so lazy as a people that it's simply too much to expect ourselves to bear supporting the pesky weight of our HEADS??

Really??

And how about this one:
I couldn't possibly think of any part of this mess that could have been intentional.
Mentally PREPAIR you??  Is that some kind of a joke?  Somebody needs to mentally prepair their lettering before they sign off on it.
And Don't Be Victim??  I'm aware that sometimes a noun can be used casually as an adjective, i.e. "Now that's gangster...," "How ghetto is her hair?"
But I think this one can be chalked up to good, old-fashioned dumb.

I can't bring myself to click onto their website - it would be too painful.

Folks, I try to tolerate some degree of human-ness.  I make mistakes too, once in a while - but jeez.

On a lighter note, I did actually begin some of the aforementioned digging out.  A little bit.  Baby steps.  When you have ADD, you tend to have a knack for overlooking clutter and a unique talent for "I'll sort that later."  I'm sure that makes me a dream to live with - but I'm trying.

I did get to spend about 45 minutes this afternoon throwing a baseball with Kyle in the back yard.  The kid has an amazing arm, it's really quite something to see the accuracy he consistently demonstrates from way further away than I can throw (or estimate, apparently).  He's always very patient with my occasional errant throw and makes sure to try and reassure me that he's having fun even if he has to chase a few.  It's pretty cute.  He tells me that baseball is his favorite sport ever, and I believe him.

So I went to the doc last week to get these darn headaches figured out - and his hunch is that it's the whatever is jacked up in my neck (actually, his words) is to blame.  He says I have "really crummy range of motion for somebody [my] age" and wondered if I had some major neck or head injury in my past.  Not that I remember, though that would certainly explain a lot!  So, on deck is an adjustment, as well as testing to rule out the ugly stuff - and scripts for acupuncture and massage.  The former, covered by both insurances.  The latter, not so much - though the bald one is happy to oblige until distracted by frontal anatomy...

So, how about a little bit of positivity??

I was thrilled today when one of my chilluns actually helped clear the table after dinner without having been asked - that's a rare occurrence, yet this particular chillun has done it twice in the span of a week and Mommy is so impressed.
I've been ecstatic lately over some wonderful new friendships as well as the mending of an old rift that's been bugging me for a couple years.
And I feel really, truly lucky to be blessed with such wonderful kids, such an amazing husband, such a great extended family...a roof over our heads and everything we need and quite a bit we want...a job I love... With the way the economy is these days, with people losing jobs and homes and everything I sometimes take for granted, it's nice to have so much to be thankful for.

Back to my scanning.  Good night, all.
